Insight Chiropractic was founded in 2003 by Darwin locals, Marc Cova and Adriana Arango. Over the past 21 years it has evolved into a community based, multidisciplinary practice providing high quality chiropractic care to infants through to the elderly.
Our History
Insight Chiropractic was founded in 2003 by husband and wife team Marc Cova and Adriana Arango , who after both studying their Bachelor of Science degrees at Flinders University and their Master of Chiropractic degrees at Macquarie University, settled in Adriana’s home town of Darwin.
The intention from the beginning was to build a community based Chiropractic practice focused on high quality, caring and transparent chiropractic care. As the practice has evolved over the past 16 years they have stayed true to this and brought on board Chiropractors with specialist interests as well as furthering their own studies. This means Insight Chiropractic is able to provide care to a diverse range of people from infants through to the elderly and all those in between.
Insight Chiropractic is proud to say that their practice has grown to where it is today a predominantly community word of mouth practice. Each person no matter their age is treated as an individual and Marc and Adriana along with their team pride themselves on having a professional rapport with an extended group of practitioners with whom they work together when the need arises. Being “locals” means they are “here to stay” .
In 2014 we expanded Insight Chiropractic to a new premises at “The Avenue” in Parap. With the clinic offering, a calm, caring and relaxed environment for all. There is a dedicated children’s area with a parents room as well as additional services being provided including Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Myotherapy and Massage therapy.
From 2007 Insight Chiropractic has always employed a Chiropractor with a special interest in the care of children as part of their team. This role is extremely important to us and we have done our best to only hire the best people possible for the job. As only a minority of individuals in our profession have the appropriate post graduate training to be considered trusted practitioners in the Paediatric Chiropractic field we have focused on filling this very important post over the years with the right people.
We also have an interest in spinal pain syndromes, and are able to treat a variety of conditions which may not have improved with other forms of therapy. We have a variety of experienced practitioners confident with their manual skills and deeply knowledgeable with the intricacies and delicacies of spinal manipulation. We are also proficient in the use of spinal traction and have at our disposal a treatment table designed for traction therapy. This is a underutilised and commonly underestimated form a therapy in our profession which is gentle yet effective.
